Ryan Murguia
Ryan is the President, Co-Owner, and Founder of Quantum Land Design.
​
Ryan has over 20 years experience in surveying, civil engineering and construction. He spent 12 years on a survey crew doing construction layout and as a civil engineering technician. He founded Quantum Land Design in 2013 to better assist civil contractors with technology solutions, focusing on machine control models. In 2015, Ryan & Zach started the Quantum subsidiary AeroView Services, specializing in UAV/drone services for Civil Engineers and Surveyors. Quantum Land Design and AeroView Services have grown to respected leaders in fields of construction technology and drone data.

Ryan spends his free time woodworking or enjoying the outdoors hunting, hiking, golfing & traveling with wife, Kiley; daughter, Brooklyn; and their two dogs, Copper and Rocket.

Zach Pieper
Zach is the Director of Operations and a Co-Owner Quantum Land Design. He manages Quantum’s drone data program, new clients, education and marketing.
​
Prior to Quantum, Zach developed experience in the earthmoving industry over 20 years. He managed his family’s excavating company, introducing GPS machine control fleet wide. He also earned international experience working for Caterpillar in Global Mining as a Service Engineer and in Heavy Construction as a Market Development Engineer. Zach enjoys leveraging his experience to help contractors be successful while applying the latest technology to their operation. He has been featured as a speaker at a range of industry events including ConExpo 2020, 2023 and 2026, multiple Trimble Dimensions and a range of civil engineering conferences.

After hours, Zach, and his wife Stacey, stay busy with their three boys doing everything from outdoor pursuits to building anything to sports.

Orrin Lanz
Orrin is the Director of Engineering and a Co-Owner of Quantum Land Design with over 15 years of experience in indusry. He manages projects, communicates with clients, and creates all types of machine control models.
Orrin’s background as a Mechanical Engineer gives him a unique perspective and strong troubleshooting skills. He puts his experience to good use on Quantum’s toughest projects. You'd be hard pressed to find a machine control model problem that Orrin could not solve. Contractors always appreciate Orrin's quick response to complex civil engineering problems.
Previous to Quantum, Orrin was a Project Engineer for a leading satellite antenna manufacturer. He focused on integrating the latest technology and manufacturing advances into mobile satellite antennas. Orrin was an early adopter of using 3D printing to accelerate prototyping. You may not realize it, but you likely see Orrin’s Engineering prowess on display anytime you drive past an RV or a semi on the highway.

In his free time, Orrin enjoys woodworking, cooking, hiking and spending time with his wife Christa and their five children.

Bart Booth

Bart brings more than 25 years of specialized experience in earthwork takeoffs to Quantum where he serves as Manager of Earthwork Takeoffs. Focusing exclusively on civil projects, he leads a team dedicated to delivering highly accurate quantity takeoffs that form the foundation of successful bids.
Throughout his career, Bart has honed expertise in analyzing complex plan sets to compute precise earthwork volumes. His work directly impacts project economics by providing dependable data for material costing, and equipment selection, ensuring bids are realistic and change orders are minimized.
In his free time Bart enjoys spending time with family, gardening and hanging out with his many dogs. ​​​​​​​​

Taylor Eisenmann

Taylor is a Machine Control Specialist and manages the Paving and Road Division of Quantum Land Design. Taylor started with us in 2017 and is closing in on 10 years of valuable experience in the field.
His paving model expertise ranges from residential parking lots to interstate highways to curb and gutter models and everything in between. Stringless paving and curb models are one of Quantum’s biggest growth areas. When the road work lets up, Taylor is a valuable contributor on site development projects as well.
Prior to Quantum Land Design, Taylor graduated from Southeastern Community College with degrees in Construction Management and Computer Aided Design.
In his free time, Taylor enjoys spending time with his family, Jeep riding, grilling, and watching sports. Taylor and his wife, Allie, have 2 children-- a boy & a girl.

Kiley Murguia
Kiley is Quantum’s Controller, managing bookkeeping and payroll. Her 20 years of varied experience prove valuable every day. She specializes in 3D machine control utility models and even helps with drone data processing, too.
Prior to working at Quantum Land Design, Kiley built 10 years of experience in the banking industry, focusing on ACH and Wire Transfers.
Outside of work, Kiley enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, and their daughter Brooklyn. Traveling, hiking, playing with their dogs, Copper and Rocket, are some of their favorite ways to spend their free time. She loves watching her daughter play volleyball and is fortunate to leverage her experience as a player in coaching Brooklyn’s teams.

Noah Murphy
Noah is a Machine Control Specialist at Quantum Land Design. A former Quantum intern, hired in 2021, Noah has built 5 years of experience, quickly becoming an efficient and valuable contributor to Quantum's team.
Noah graduated from Southeastern Community College with a degree in Computer Aided Design Technology. That knowledge base was built into a wealth of civil engineering knowledge.
His free time is filled by spending time with his family and friends, driving his Corvette, enjoying the outdoors and playing board games.

Hunter Hill
Hunter began his career in machine control modeling and drone data quickly accumulating 5 years of experience in putting construction technology to work.
A graduate since 2022, he has been a full-time Machine Control Specialist with experience in commercial and residential site projects, roads, subdivisions, and drone data. Hunter's accumulated experience have built a depth of knowledge he applies to every project.
In his free time, he enjoys the company of friends and family, playing cards and board games, golfing, and pickleball.

Benedict Rozario

Benedict interned at Quantum Land Design while completing his Computer Aided Design Technology degree at Southeastern Community College, from which he graduated in 2024. Ben's 4 years of experience have been leveraged by contractors all over North America. Ben was hired on as a full-time Machine Control Specialist in 2024.
Benedict is known for his attention to detail, commitment to high-quality work, and ability to grasp new concepts and technologies. He displays a passion for innovation and is always eager to learn and grow.
Benedict enjoys spending his free time playing video games, reading, and visiting with family and friends.

Trystan Gaul
Trystan is a Machine Control Specialist with a focus on road, linear project and 3D utility models. Trystan always goes the extra mile to ensure that our clients receive detailed and reliable machine control models. Trystan's 4 years of experience at Quantum make him a valuable part of the team.
Trystan started as an intern while completing his college degree at Southeastern Community College. He completed his degree in Computer Aided Design Technology in 2024. Trystan became a full time member of Quantum's team immediately after graduation.
In his off-time he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing video games, enjoying nature, hiking, and an occasional fishing trip.

Bo Hightower
Bo started at Quantum Land Design as an intern in 2024 Bo has already earned nearly 3 years of modeling experience. Under the guidance and mentorship provided through Quantum's training program, he quickly excelled in developing 3D machine control models for utility and road projects. His strong performance led to his promotion to Full-Time Machine Control Specialist in 2025. Bo's willingness to take on new responsibilities and complex projects is always appreciated.

Outside of work, Bo enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Hayley, playing video games, and taking their dog for walks. He also enjoys listening to music, learning new skills, and visiting family and friends. Bo and Haley will welcome their first child in 2026!

Elijah Bradley
Elijah is is the latest addition to the Quantum team. Starting as an intern, he built two years of experience before starting full time in May 2026. Elijah is always ready to tackle a big project or take on a new challenge in modeling. He is steadily growing into versatile team member.
He holds a degree in Computer Aided Design Technology at Southeastern Community College.
In his free time he enjoys house hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and bird hunting.
